A spellbinding musical dialogue comes to life under Celtic virtuosos, Catrin Finch & Aoife Ní Bhriain. Fiddle player Ní Bhriain and harpist Finch combine traditional Welsh and Irish tunes to create breathtaking new pieces which transport you from the Irish Sea to the west coast of Wales.
The movement of honeybees, traditional and classical tunes and the cultures of their home countries worked as the main inspirations for Finch and Bhriain’s collaboration. Their debut album, Double You blends music from Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn and Pietro Locatelli with traditional Celtic music, creating a truly distinct sound.
Their music is filled with universal themes of bravery and self-belief. Let Catrin Finch & Aoife Ní Bhriain spirit you away in this enchanting evening charting the depths of traditional folk and the waves of sparkling creativity.
