Some of the world’s finest musicians, orchestras and ensembles perform at the Edinburgh International Festival. With the Young Musician’s Pass you can see them for free.
From world-class orchestras to superb soloists, breathtaking opera to mind-bending dance, our programme has something to inspire all young, passionate musicians.Â

- Thursday, 7 May, 12noon: YMP 2026 offer announced
- Monday 18 May, 12noon: Booking for YMP opens
- Friday 26 June, 4pm: Booking for YMP closes
- 7–30 August: International Festival 2026

How to register
To be eligible for the Young Musician's Pass you must:
- Be aged between 8–18 during the Festival period
- Live in Scotland
- Play a musical instrument or sing
