Paul Auster | 2017 International Festival

Paul Auster at 70

Presented by Edinburgh International Book Festival

Author Paul Auster discusses his life and work at the keynote event at the Edinburgh International Festival, in partnership with Edinburgh International Book Festival.

If you had to pick one writer to sum up the inventive spirit of the post-war transatlantic era, you could hardly do better than Paul Auster. Ever since he burst onto the scene with his New York Trilogy of interconnected novels, Auster has remained a major figure in world literature. He joins us for this keynote event to discuss his life and work, as part of a series celebrating Edinburgh's 70th anniversary as a festival city. This event is presented by the Edinburgh International Book Festival in partnership with the Edinburgh International Festival and the British Council.

Part of the International Festival and British Council season Spirit of '47.
