Venue Accessibility

• The front of the building is accessible via Leven St with levelled access or by three steps with a handrail.  
• All levels and bars are accessible by lift. The building has two lifts, both equipped with voice synthesisers for additional support.
• Unisex accessible toilets on all levels of the King’s Theatre – all have emergency call buttons.
• Changing Places facility  
• Assistance dogs are welcome and can be looked after by venue staff 

Seating Accessibility  

• Stall seats range from 51cm-56cm wide.
• 40 seats with transferable arms on the end of rows from the mid to rear stalls for easy transfer from a wheelchair. The rest of the auditorium seats have arm rests that do not move.
• 12 wider seats at 60cm wide bookable at the ends of Row K & Row L.
• Dress circle seats range from 53cm-56cm wide.  
• Upper circle seats range from 51-52cm wide.  
• Two spaces in the Dress Circle and 8 spaces in the stalls for wheelchair users, with adjacent seats for companions. Contact venue Box Office (0131 529 6000) to book a wheelchair space.

Audio assistance system available. Box Office will advise on the best seats for reception.
