Rising Stars gives the world’s most promising young musicians a chance to shine on an international stage.
Chosen via audition, we unite up-and-coming musicians with professional mentors and their peers. Following an exhilarating rehearsal period, these Rising Stars take to the stage during the Edinburgh International Festival, offering the world a glimpse at the future of music.

Applications are open for Strings, Jazz, and Voice. You'll receive a tailored mentorship, make industry connections and step onto our global stage. Deadline 29 March 📅
Since the introduction of the Rising Stars programme in 2023 we have:
- Supported 44 emerging musicians
- Enrolled 17 mentors
- Hosted 21 performances
- Reached over 10,000 audience members

Previous Events
It has been the most important professional experience I have ever had. Everything was special about this project, the mentors were incredible musicians and The Hub is a unique venue to perform, so intimate and cozy, it allows a unique connection with the audience.
