Rising Stars with Leonore Piano Trio

The Leonore Piano Trio mentors last year’s rising stars of classical music.

Rising Stars gives the world’s most promising young musicians a chance to shine on an international stage.

Five exceptional mentees from last year’s Exploring Mendelssohn concert return to the Edinburgh International Festival. In 2023, they were trained by three professionals in their chosen classical field: Stefan Jackiw, Jessica Bodner and Sterling Elliott. This time, the Rising Stars are mentored by the Leonore Piano Trio, made up of violinist Benjamin Nabarro on violin, cellist Gemma Rosefield and pianist Tim Horton.

Discover how far these rising stars have come through an adventurous repertoire of works of both classical and Romantic composers.
