The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis represents the height of collective excellence and innovation. In the final year of his four-decade tenure as their Artistic Director, experience the inspirational trumpeter Wynton Marsalis perform with the orchestra he founded.
Their Festival residency opens our Usher Hall series with a performance of Wynton Marsalis’s epic 12-part work, All Rise. The orchestra then goes on to perform Duke Ellington’s jazz symphony, Black, Brown and Beige. Their residency culminates in two performances with star pianist Yuja Wang, in a world premiere collaboration.
