The innovative Classical Jam returns to The Hub, performed by Rising Stars of Strings and our Festival Director, world-class violinist Nicola Benedetti. Our Rising Stars programme brings a select group of emerging musicians to our Festival stages, under mentorship by some of the world’s finest musicians.  

Inspired by the spontaneous jam tradition in jazz, during the Classical Jam our performers don’t know in advance what they will play. Instead, they put the choice of repertoire into the hands of the audience.
