2026’s dance programme offers a powerful call to rise together, celebrating the strength of the human spirit through outstanding work by international and Scottish dance-makers. 

From San Francisco Ballet’s futuristic Mere Mortals to Scottish ensemble Groupwork’s dance-theatre production When Prophecy Fails, this year’s dance programme acts as a rallying cry to join forces.

Celebrating outstanding work by Olivier Award winner Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (Ihsane), Festival favourite Dan Daw (EXXY) and more, we champion the strength of the human spirit through powerful movement.
