Some of the world’s finest musicians, orchestras and ensembles perform at the Edinburgh International Festival. With the Young Musician’s Pass you can see them for free.
From world-class orchestras to superb soloists, breathtaking opera to mind-bending dance, our programme has something to inspire all young, passionate musicians.Â

YMP bookings for the 2026 Festival are now closed, with over 2,400 free tickets claimed by YMP members!
Missed out?  Don’t worry - you can still save 50% on any International Festival event by selecting the under-18 concession when booking. You can also register for YMP membership, and we’ll notify you about our 2027 Festival plans closer to the time.
How to register
To be eligible for the Young Musician's Pass you must:
- Be aged between 8–18 during the Festival period
- Live in Scotland
- Play a musical instrument or sing
