Up Late with Kathryn Joseph
Up Late with Kathryn Joseph
Scottish singer-songwriter Kathryn Joseph brings her meditative vocals and rhythmic piano to a late night at The Hub.
Since winning the Scottish Album of the Year award in 2015 for her debut, Joseph’s music has evolved from intimate and delicate to something altogether more intense. Often compared to PJ Harvey and Kate Bush, she combines raw emotion with piano, keyboards, and electronic elements.
Joined by Lomond Campbell, Joseph ventures into darker, more experimental territory, marking a pivotal shift in her artistry. Returning to the International Festival after her 2021 performance, she invites you into a space where vulnerability and beauty collide in profoundly moving music.
What to expect at The Hub
The most intimate performances and conversations unfold here. Experience music traditions from across the globe, grab a drink at the bar and meet artists.
Programme
At the Hub we encourage artists to offer a free, more spontaneous performance style and to introduce the music themselves. The final programme will be updated here after the event.
