POSTPONED: The Truth We Seek: Artistic Freedom

This event is unable to go ahead on Tuesday 5th August. We hope to reschedule this, and all ticket holders will be contacted in due course.

The power of creative defiance comes alive in this debate on what it means to be an artist today.

Hear from a panel made up of leading artists and advocates as they navigate how to tackle the rising issues with artistic freedom in their practice. Simon Fanshawe – co-founder of the lobby group Stonewall and current University of Edinburgh rector – chairs the panel. No stranger to our sister festivals, he appeared at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for ten years and won the Perrier Award for Comedy in 1989.
