An Afternoon with Geoff Sobelle at The Hub
Join award-winning absurdist performer Geoff Sobelle for an afternoon at The Hub.
Geoff Sobelle is an award-winning theatre artist, clown and contraptionist. His surreal performances combine spectacular design, stage illusions and absurdist humour.
This August, Sobelle performs his latest immersive work, FOOD, at The Studio. This is Sobelle's second visit to the Festival after his 2018 performance of HOME, described as 'a delicious piece of dreamlike visual theatre' by The Independent. Similarly to HOME, FOOD explores the uncommonness of common themes, placing the audience at the centre of the performance.
Sobelle takes a break from his busy performance schedule to spend an afternoon at the Festival's home at The Hub. Anything could happen.
The Hub is supported by Sir Ewan and Lady Brown together with Flure Grossart.
The Hub Talks are supported by The University of Edinburgh.
