Unfortunately, all performances of Anna Deveare Smith’s Notes from the Field have been cancelled at this year’s International Festival.

The production has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict for Ms Smith. Because of the nature of the show, it is not possible to re-cast the role.

Ms Smith gave the following statement about the cancellation: ‘I am deeply honoured by the invitation to perform my work at the International Festival this year, and regret that due to immovable, conflicting professional obligations I will not be able to make this appearance and share in this wellspring of imagination. It is my sincere hope that in coming seasons I can’.

All customers who booked tickets for Notes from the Field have been contacted directly by the International Festival and will be refunded in full.
