The backbone of folk music is the thousands of people who play this music informally, and the teachers who keep the traditions alive. The Lau-Land Big Tune Machine is an unashamedly joyous celebration of this music and the wonderful social community that surrounds it. Players of all ages having been working hard with Amy Geddes and Donald Knox of Fyne Fiddles to create a folk music big band like no other. Come and enjoy the results of their work in this one-off performance in which Lau will join the band on stage for selected numbers.

The afternoon will culminate in an open session for those who wish to stay and play. Please bring your instrument if you wish to join in with this. Family Friendly. All welcome.
