Some of the world’s finest musicians, orchestras and ensembles perform at the Edinburgh International Festival. With the Young Musician’s Pass you can see them for free.
From world-class orchestras at Usher Hall, to breathtaking opera and superb soloists at The Hub and The Queen’s Hall, our music programme has something to inspire all young, passionate musicians.

YMP bookings for the 2025 Festival are now closed, with over 2,500 free tickets claimed by YMP members!
If you booked YMP tickets, we'll email you your tickets in July.
Missed out?
Don’t worry - you can still save 50% on any International Festival event by selecting the under-18 concession when booking. You can also register for YMP membership, and we’ll notify you about our 2026 Festival plans closer to the time.
What’s the deal?
To be eligible for the Young Musicians Pass you must:
- Be aged between 8–18 during the Festival period
- Live in Scotland
- Play a musical instrument or sing
As a YMP member you can get your hands on up to three free pairs of tickets to selected events across the Edinburgh International Festival music programme.
