The Lyceum is located in Edinburgh’s West End, approximately 5 minutes’ walk north from the west end of Princes Street. The Rehearsal Studio entrance is located on the opposite side of the street from the theatre.

Getting there

Venue accessibility
  • Lift access from street level to venue level
  • Level access from main entrance to lift
  • Wheelchair spaces are available
  • Accessible toilet on the venue level
  • There is an induction loop system available in the Rehearsal Studio that can be used by patrons in conjunction with their own hearing aid by switching it to the ‘T’ position
  • Assistance dogs are welcome and can be looked after by venue staff
Safety and security

Arrive at venues in plenty of time as latecomers may not be admitted.

Your safety and security at International Festival events is of the utmost importance to us. Please note that bags may be subject to security searches and you should not bring bags larger than 30cm x 30cm x 15cm to our venues. No larger bags (or similar) will be allowed into the venue. There is no cloakroom to store belongings.
