Behind the Festival Theatre’s striking glass façade there lies a welcoming 19th Century theatre.

  • Assistance dogs are welcome and can be looked after by venue staff
Refreshments
  • Pre-order your pre-show and interval drinks with the new Capital Theatres Bars App and get 10% off your first order. You can download the app from the App Store and Google Play. Bars are located on each level and open one hour before the performance. 
  • The Festival Theatre Cafe is also open from 10.00am daily and offers a selection of light lunches, hot drinks and cakes. 
Safety and security

Arrive at venues in plenty of time as latecomers may not be admitted.

Your safety and security at International Festival events is of the utmost importance to us. Please note that bags may be subject to security searches and you should not bring bags larger than 30cm x 30cm x 15cm to our venues. No larger bags (or similar) will be allowed into the venue. There is no cloakroom to store belongings.
