The Virgin Money Fireworks Concert is not only the finale to the Edinburgh International Festival but marks an unforgettable close to Edinburgh's festival season.
The display, set against the stunning backdrop of the iconic Edinburgh Castle, has been designed by internationally-renowned fireworks artist Keith Webb of Pyrovision.
Virgin Money is incredibly proud to be the headline sponsor of the Fireworks Concert.
As the world's largest annual fireworks concert, months of planning go into making it truly spectacular, year in, year out. It's a night to celebrate the city of Edinburgh and its people. Set to the music of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, the fireworks end the Festival with a bang (literally!) and serve as a stunning curtain closer to the summer festival season.
Virgin Money’s sponsorship of the fireworks concert fits perfectly with our plans to build a better kind of bank. It allows us to show our commitment to Edinburgh and share our pride in the city and its communities. The concert is a shining example of people coming together in celebration. We’re delighted to play our part in keeping this great event on the calendar and helping to make it bigger and better every year.
Join us at the heart of the action in the ticketed Princes Street Gardens. You can also visit virginmoney.com to find out more about what we do and our ambition to be the bank that makes everyone better off.

A curated festival, artists are invited to take part by Festival Director Fergus Linehan, with projects and programmes developed around a common theme. Scottish Chamber Orchestra
The internationally celebrated Scottish Chamber Orchestra (SCO) is made up of a unique collection of talented musicians from around the world who inspire and connect with people of all ages.
The SCO has produced and performed the Fireworks Concert since the first event in 1982. The SCO team chooses and arranges the music, works in partnership with the fireworks company Pyrovision, transforms Princes Street Gardens into massive open-air concert halls and, during the concert, makes sure the fireworks are set off at exactly the right time to dance with the music.
The SCO is one of the world’s best chamber orchestras and tours the world, flying the flag for Scottish cultural excellence. Throughout the year, however, the Orchestra and Chorus perform in Scotland’s concert halls.
The Scottish Chamber Orchestra receives funding from the Scottish Government as one of Scotland’s five National Performing Arts Companies
