Friends and Patrons of the International Festival also have access to an exclusive programme of year round events, including everything from backstage tours and talks with artists to overseas trips to joining us for a pre-performance or interval drink during the International Festival. We also offer the chance to catch up with fellow members and arts lovers at our regular Friends on Monday coffee mornings plus lunches and afternoon teas throughout the year. These events provide exclusive behind-the-scenes insights, bringing you closer to the International Festival and enhancing your festival experience year round.

Meet with fellow Friends and Patrons at The Hub for tea/coffee, a chat and the odd sweet treat. No need to book, just turn up.
Festival lunch at The Apartment

Ticket includes a three-course lunch with two drinks; wine/beer/soft drink.
Bookings must be made by Tuesday 1 August.
We will begin our lunch programme at family–run independent Bruntsfield restaurant The Apartment which we are sure will set a high standard for the continuing weeks.
Festival lunch at La Petite Mort

Lunch at La Petite Mort really is one not to miss. A relaxed and welcoming environment celebrating the finest of Scotland’s artisan supplies.

Billed as the ‘best in Modern Scottish cuisine with nods to the Mediterranean’, Ishka is Morrison Street’s latest addition to the restaurant scene.

The tours will begin at the foyer of each theatre.
Friends and Patrons can observe Orchestra and Chorus Teatro Regio Torino rehearsing sections of Verdi’s Requiem.
As this is a working rehearsal, pieces will not necessarily be played in their entirety.
NB In order to not disturb the performers please arrive in plenty of time for the start of the rehearsal and be advised that late comers will not be permitted. Seats are unreserved and the seating area will be allocated on arrival. There is no access to other parts of the hall or backstage area. Please only leave the rehearsal at a recognised break.
