Access is through the Andrew Grant Gallery, take a left turn into the corridor and the toilet is on the right hand side. ]]>

The Queen's Gallery

The Queen's Gallery Palace of Holyroodhouse, Canongate, Royal Mile EH8 8DX The Queen’s Gallery hosts changing exhibitions from Royal Collection Trust and was opened by Her Majesty in 2002, as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations. It was built in the shell of the former Holyrood Free Church and Duchess of Gordon’s School. Scotland’s heraldic lion sits above the entrance, carved in stone. The sculpture is based on a lion that sits at the feet of Mary, Queen of Scots on her tomb in Westminster Abbey. Lothian Buses: 35, 36 Parking: The nearest disabled parking bays are located on Horse Wynd, just outside the Palace. When possible, The Queen’s Gallery will offer parking for visitors with disabilities. To enquire about parking, please telephone 0131 524 1120. Access: A lift or 22 steps up to the main exhibition level. Level access elsewhere. Induction loops at ticket sales desks, shop till counters and the audio tour collection and return points are equipped with induction loops. Hearing aids should be switched to the T position. A complimentary audio tour is available in English. The audio tour handsets are compatible and equipped with volume control. Neck loops are also available on request. BSL, Introductory and themed verbal description tours are available. Tours last 90 minutes and must be pre-booked.
