Rhinoceros rehearsals kick off

You can tell August is approaching fast when three of the theatre companies presenting their new works at the International Festival go into their first rehearsals; this week sees The Divide, Meet Me at Dawn and Rhinoceros starting the next stage of preparations. Today we are going behind the scenes at the Lyceum Theatre, where Turkish director Murat Daltaban and his company DOT Theatre were reunited with the Scottish creative team and playwright Zinnie Harris.

We collated some great social media moments for you, from DOT Theatre's journey to Scotland, to the inaugural rehearsal at the Lyceum Theatre, so you can join us on this exciting journey towards August when we'll see you in the auditorium for Rhinoceros. Below you can also watch a new video where Zinnie Harris and Murat Daltaban tell us more about their new version of Ionesco's classic 1959 play.

And in case you missed it, here's another interview with Zinnie Harris where we asked her to tell us about her take on Rhinoceros.

Rhinoceros previews are on 3 & 4 August followed by performances on 5, 6, 8, 10 & 12 August. Book your tickets now.
