Brahms Violin Sonata No 1 in G
Brahms Violin Sonata No 2 in A
Brahms Violin Sonata No 3 in D minor

Two of today’s most charismatic and accomplished musicians come together for a Festival recital surveying the rich, thoughtful violin sonatas of Brahms.

Powerful Greek violinist Leonidas Kavakos is a deeply serious artist, admired for his noble sound and refined tonal control. Chinese-born Yuja Wang is an astonishing virtuoso pianist, acclaimed around the world for her sparkling personality and flamboyant musicality. Together they perform Brahms’s three violin sonatas, from the glorious lyricism of the First and the radiant charm of the Second to the epic drama of the Third.
