The King's opened in 1906 and is a much loved among Edinburgh's residents. Originally built as a variety theatre, the King's plays host to Festival drama productions.

Access Information:

  • Single yellow line parking on Tarvit Street approximately 30 metres away and in the side streets opposite the theatre.
  • Ramped access adjacent to the Box Office or three steps to the main entrance.
  • Level access is at the side of the Theatre. Please ring the door bell to gain access.
  • Wheelchair spaces in the stalls. Please enter through the side of theatre, ring the bell to gain access.
  • Sennheiser infra-red system, receivers for use with or without a hearing aid can be collected from staff in the main foyer.
  • Accessible toilet on stalls level.
  • Bars only accessible by stairs, please ask staff for refreshments before the performance to have them brought to you.
