Hub Tickets provides ticketing service to the Edinburgh International Festival.


Latecomers

Latecomers may be asked to wait until a suitable break in the performance before they can enter the auditorium.


Ticket Exchanges and Refunds

Once booked, tickets cannot be returned or exchanged.


Resales

Tickets are taken back for resale on the condition that they will only be offered for sale once a performance is sold out. A commission applies to tickets sold using this service. For more information please call Hub Tickets on +44 (0) 131 473 2000.


Fees

All ticket prices are inclusive of VAT.

We do not charge any fee for any booking. There is an extra charge for despatching tickets by post.


Ticket Despatch

In the course of online booking you will be offered the option to have your tickets mailed to you for an additional cost, indicated when the contents of your shopping basket are confirmed.

You may collect your tickets in person if you choose or if you are booking for an event which happens within 7 days of your booking. Tickets are held for collection at The Hub, Castlehill, Edinburgh EH1 2NE and are available as soon as your online credit card transaction has been confirmed. Tickets can also be collected at the venue, just before the performance you have booked for. Please call Hub Tickets for details on 0131 473 2000.

Tickets can only be collected on production of the credit card used to pay for them by the cardholder. Please have your client number and/or your order number when you collect your tickets, which are on your Booking Confirmation email.

Edinburgh International Festival 'Win A Festival Weekend’

  1. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
  2. Employees of the Edinburgh Festival Society, their agents, families or anyone else professionally connected with the competition are excluded from participating
  3. To enter the 'Win A Festival Weekend’ simply register with www.eif.co.uk/london before Saturday 28 June 2008. Only one entry per person.
  4. Closing date for entries to the 'Win A Festival Weekend’ draw is 11pm Friday 27 June 2008. The winner of the competition will be drawn by 6pm on Tuesday 1 July 2008.
  5. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the rules as are these terms and conditions. Entry into the promotion is deemed to signify acceptance of the rules.
  6. Winners will be notified by telephone call or email on Tuesday 1 July 2008. If the winner does not respond after 7 days of being notified, the promoter may dispose of the prize as it thinks fit without any liability to the winner(s) for having done so.
  7. The competition winner will be drawn at random.
  8. There is one main prize of a weekend break for two to Edinburgh

The prize includes:

  1. 2 nights 4* accommodation in the Royal Terrace Hotel, Edinburgh (One twin or double room with ensuite facilities) on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 August 2008.

If any circumstances out of the promoter's control mean that the prize advertised is not available, the promoter will provide a prize of equivalent value.

The promoters' decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

Entries must be received via the www.eif.co.uk/london registration form. Entries via third parties will not be accepted.

The promoter reserves the right to refuse entries which are incomplete or do not meet the rules.

To obtain details of winning entries, please send a SAE to Win A Festival Weekend Competition, Edinburgh International Festival, The Hub, Castlehill, Edinburgh EH1 2NE within 28 days of the closing date.

No cash or other alternative in part or full will be offered in lieu of the specified prizes. Prizes are not transferable.

Winners may be asked to participate in publicity.
