About the performance

'poignant...compelling...shivering emotion' The Scotsman

'deeply expressive, beautifully ornamented singing' The Herald

The voices and instruments of the Langa and Manganiyar desert communities reverberate around the magnificent redeveloped National Museum of Scotland. These concerts feature three legendary folk musicians, each revealing aspects of the rich musical heritage of this spiritual part of India, evoking sunsets, sunrises and full moons.
