Sing with the Edinburgh Festival Chorus

Love Singing?

We are recruiting singers to join the world famous Edinburgh Festival Chorus. If you love singing, why not come and sing with us at our open Rehearsal and arrange your audition?

The Edinburgh Festival Chorus is one of the finest in the world. Made up of enthusiastic amateur singers from across Scotland, it gives spectacular performances with major international conductors, orchestras and soloists. This year the Chorus performed at the Opening Concert for Festival 09 - Handel's Judas Maccabaeus conducted by William Christie with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. The Chorus also performed with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the Hallé orchestra.

"the chorus rose to those uniquely Verdian heights of massed-voice passion."
(The Sunday Times on Verdi's Macbeth, Festival 09)

The chorus rehearses in the Main Hall of The Hub, Edinburgh's Festival Centre, on Tuesday evenings. If you would like to take part, please come along on Tuesday 3 November 7.00pm and see if it's for you. There will be staff on hand to answer your questions and to arrange an audition with Chorus Master Christopher Bell.

To attend the rehearsal, or for more information on how to join, please contact our Chorus Administrator Helen MacLeod on 0131 473 2027 or email chorus@eif.co.uk
