Online Fireworks Tickets Snapped Up

In just over two hours, the second allocation of tickets for the Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert has completely sold out, proving that the spectacular finale to the Edinburgh International Festival really is the hottest ticket in town.

Garden tickets for the show - which takes place on Sunday 31 August - were snapped up by fans after going on sale this morning at 11.00am at ww.eif.co.uk/bankofscotlandfireworksconcert.

Fret not though as there will be a third and final batch of tickets up for grabs on Sunday 24 August from 10.00am at the Hub, Castlehill, Edinburgh, EH1 2NE. These are limited to four per customer and are priced at £10 each.

With the magnificent Edinburgh Castle as a backdrop, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra will perform a programme of Eastern European folk dance music at this year’s hotly anticipated Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert. Set in time with the music, fireworks artists Wilf Scott and Keith Webb of Pyrovision launch a breathtaking display including more than 100,00 fireworks, four tonnes of explosives and the famous waterfall.
