RBS Museum Lates 2 - Night of the Mummy!
Following the success of the first RBS Museum Lates event last November, the National Museum of Scotland's second installment takes inspiration from their Fascinating Mummies exhibition. Radio One's Ally McCrae introduces live sets from Bwani Junction and Sparrow and the Workshop, with live comedy from Edinburgh Bright Club, a themed film screening, a Lates Bazaar, Silent Disco, and Egyptian snacks to nibble on.

National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh, Friday 24 February, 7.00-11.00pm. Tickets £18/£16 concessions (includes entry to Fascinating Mummies exhibition) or £10/£8 concessions/members for Museum Late event only (membership card holders can gain entry to Fascinating Mummies for free). 18+ only.

Festival Social
Enjoy a drink and a chat with fellow IN members, Festival supporters and staff in the relaxed environs of the Traverse Bar Café at these new regular events. No need to book, just pitch up from 6.00pm.

We celebrated IN's second year in style with a party on stage at the Festival Theatre, Edinburgh on 2 June 2011. Have a look at some photos from the night in our Flickr gallery.

During Festival 2011 we had FREE backstage tours and talks with Stephen Earnhart, Director of The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle; Tim Supple, Director of One Thousand and One Nights; and John Robb, EIF Head of Technical, of the set of Die Frau Ohne Schatten.  Plus an exclusive out-of-hours FREE tour of Hiroshi Sugimoto’s Lightning Field exhibition at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art with exhibition curator Simon Groom.



IN members also received invites to The List 2011 Festival Party at Summerhall, pre-performance drinks at The Qatsi Trilogy and drinks during the intervals of matinee performances.
