Golden Tickets

This year the Bank of Scotland ran a very special promotion where Golden Tickets worth £1,000 were to be found in its cash machines. From Monday 18th to Friday 22nd August, a limited number of Golden Tickets each replaced a £10 note in ATMs located in Bank of Scotland branches throughout Scotland.

Jim Baird from Dalgety Bay was the first Golden Ticket £1,000 winner who successfully withdrew a coveted Bank of Scotland Golden Ticket at Kirkcaldy's High Street branch winning £1,000 and two tickets to the Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert.

He said: 'I went along to withdraw an extra tenner to get my hair cut and found a Golden Ticket instead! My wife and I are going on holiday in a couple of weeks, so we're really looking forward to treating ourselves!'

Elaine Kinghorn, branch manager said: "It was absolutely fantastic to have a Golden Ticket at our branch - Jim was a great winner and really thrilled with his prize!"

Karen Tighe, Group Sponsorship, said: "Our first winner, Jim was really pleased with this prize – both the tickets to this weekend's Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert and his £1,000. We wish him all the best for a fantastic holiday!
