Getting there
We want your evening to be as enjoyable and stress-free as possible, so follow our advice on the best places to watch and ways to travel to our venues.
Access to Princes Street Gardens is possible by one of the following gates:
- King's Stables Road
- West End of Princes Street by St. John's Church
- Floral Clock - Princes Street and the Mound (please note that this is usually the busiest entrance)
All entrances will be open from 7.00pm and you can exit from any of the above gates.
The Family Viewing Area is in Inverleith Park which lies just to the north of the Stockbridge area, just over a mile from the city centre. Some parking will be available in the vicinity, but we would recommend that you use public transport to avoid extra traffic congestion.
Calton Hill, Waverley and North bridges lie to the east of the city and are best accessed on public transport or on foot.
Transport in the city will be available from Lothian Buses - for all the latest information on services visit www.lothianbuses.com. You can visit http://www.firstgroup.com/scotrail/ for up to date train time to and from Edinburgh city centre.
