Patrons and Muses: Levels of Association

For three short weeks each summer the Edinburgh International Festival invites the most exciting artists from around the world to thrill and inspire with a breathtaking programme of events. The Festival Muse scheme keeps arts lovers up to date with all the latest Festival news whilst providing you with the opportunity to support the Festival.

The enthusiasm and commitment of individual arts lovers is vital in helping us to continue presenting programmes of the highest caliber to the widest possible audiences.

Member - £20 ($40)

• Membership card
• Regular mailing of news and information, including three Muse newsletters and the Festival brochure
• Advance information as the Festival programme develops so you can plan your summer commitments
• Access to a calendar of year round events designed to enhance your enjoyment of the main strands of the Festival: opera, theatre, music and dance.

All Member benefits plus:

• The opportunity to purchase a maximum of 4 Festival tickets per event before public booking opens*
  

Applications to join can be made year round. However the final date for applications in order to gain Priority booking privileges for Festival 2008 is Friday 21 March 2008.

All Member benefits plus:

• The opportunity to purchase a maximum of 8 Festival tickets per event before public booking opens*
• The Festival magazine and the Annual Review mailed to your home on publication
• Invitations to attend preview performances (when available)

All Associate Member benefits plus:

• Patron priority booking, a higher level of priority for all Festival tickets
• Special delivery mailing of the Festival brochure on its launch (UK only)
• Summary of the Festival brochure and your Patron priority booking form faxed to you anywhere in the world (by request)
• Credit in all Festival event programmes
• Invitation for two to a Festival artists' reception

All Patron benefits plus:

• A personal box office representative to help you plan your visit and book your tickets

All Platinum Patron benefits plus:

• The highest level of priority booking available to individuals
• Invitation for two to the Festival launch party
• Credit in the Festival brochure

All Platinum Supporter benefits plus:

• Invitation for two to the opening lunch that marks the start of the Festival

*Please note that priority bookings are dealt with on a first-come-first-served basis, according to level of commitment. Muse membership cannot guarantee a successful ticket application.
