The Festival's founding vision to create a world class cultural event that would enliven, and enrich the cultural life of Europe, Britain and Scotland and ‘provide a platform for the flowering of the human spirit' is as relevant today as in it's first year in 1947.

Every August, the Edinburgh International Festival transforms one of the world's most beautiful cities, presenting three exhilarating weeks of the finest creators and performers form the world of the arts - for everyone.

As a charity we rely heavily on the generosity of our supporters to enable this unique event to take place each year, uniting artists and audiences from around the world in Edinburgh. With your gift we can help keep this vision alive for future generations of performers and audiences.

Writing your Will
Please act now and remember us in your Will. When making a Will, please seek professional advice by talking to your solicitor. If you already have a Will but would now like to include a gift to the Festival this can be done using a Codicil.
