New members can book tickets once they have been issued with membership details. This can take up to 24 hours so we recommend that you join well in advance of our launch date.

Friend level memberships:

Priority Friend (minimum donation of £60) Join now!
You will receive all of the following:

  • Member ticket discounts of up to 50% on a range of Festival 2013 performances from mid July.
  • Priority booking for Festival 2014 – you can buy up to four tickets for each Festival event in advance of public booking. Book tickets by post, fax or online.
  • Meet fellow members at year-round events, which include lunches, private talks, cultural daytrips and coffee mornings. The programme also features an annual overseas trip and various visits within the UK each year.
  • 20% discount at Cafe Hub on presentation of your membership card - all year round.
  • Ticket exchange available on all tickets purchased (conditions apply).
  • Regular mailings of news and information, including newsletters, ebulletins and the Festival brochure.

Principal Friend (minimum donation of £120) Join now!
Receive all Priority Friend benefits plus:

  • Priority booking - the opportunity to purchase an additional four Festival tickets per event (a total maximum of 8) during the 2014 Priority Booking period in advance of public booking.
  • Invitations to purchase tickets for exclusive behind-the-scenes events such as; backstage tours, company rehearsals and private talks from the Directors.
  • The chance to purchase tickets for preview performances (when available).

Patron level memberships
You will receive all the benefits associated with the Friends membership, along with extra privileges to bring you even closer to the Festival:

Patron (minimum donation of £300) Join now!

  • Patron priority booking and access to our exclusive Patron telephone booking line - a higher level of priority booking for all Festival tickets in advance of the box office opening to the general public.
  • Range of best available tickets that can be accessed only for Patrons via the Patron telephone line.
  • Special delivery mailing of the 2014 Festival brochure on its launch (UK only) to your door, or to an alternative address as appropriate.
  • Summary of the Festival brochure and your Patron priority booking form emailed to you (by request).
  • Acknowledgement of your support in Festival 2013 event programmes.
  • Opportunity to purchase two tickets to a Festival Artists' party to mingle with artists.
  • PLUS – we will invite each Patron with a guest, to raise a toast at a private reception around the Festival 2013 opening concert, hosted by Festival Directors and staff.

Platinum Patron (Minimum donation of £550) Join now!
Platinum Patrons receive all Friends' and Patron privileges, plus the following:

  • An invitation into the exclusive Platinum Lounges for tea, coffee and biscuits during selected matinee Festival performances.
  • The opportunity to purchase two tickets to a rehearsal (when available).
  • PLUS – an invitation to you and a friend to attend a reception around the Festival 2013 Closing Concert at the Usher Hall.

Platinum Supporter (Minimum donation of £1000) Join now!
Platinum Supporters receive all Friends' and Platinum Patron privileges plus the following:

  • Invitation for two to the 2014 Festival launch event in Edinburgh or London.
  • Invitation to private Festival events, attended by Festival staff and Directors.
  • Acknowledgement of your support in the Festival brochure.
  • BENEFACTORS’ LOUNGE – back in the morning at the Queen’s Hall and evening at the Usher Hall for 2013 after popular take-up during Festival 2012. An invitation to you and a friend to attend both Lounges for drinks and nibbles.

Platinum Reserve (Minimum donation of £3000) Join now!

Platinum Reserve level members receive all Friends' and Platinum Supporter privileges plus the following:

  • An invitation for two to the 2013 Celebratory Lunch that marks the start of the Festival.
  • An invitation to attend an exclusive private briefing on the 2014 programme in the week prior to the official launch of the Festival (or a briefing over the phone if preferred).

Become a Benefactor
You might also like to consider supporting the Festival at a higher level, and become one of the Festival’s Benefactors. This group of individuals make a considerable difference to the work at the Festival, and have the highest level of involvement in our work.

We ask that our Benefactors donate a minimum of £5,000, and depending on the size of your gift we can discuss attributing your support to a specific project.
