Speech-to-Text Reporting is a service for people with a hearing impairment; it is real-time translation of the spoken word into written text that appears on a screen with minimal delay. Speech-to-text reporting is similar to supertitles but the Speech-to-Text Reporter is present at each performance typing words as they are spoken so they are able to include ad-libs and the text changes to acknowledge different speakers.
Speech-to-Text Reporting will be available at Festival 2012. We will update this page with listings when the full programme is launched.
